A lot of shows have rush tickets set aside for each performance. Rush tickets are tickets that are sold for a cheaper price and usually cost $30-42 depending on the show. These tickets are sold at the box office the day of the show and people start lining up at six in the morning. Honestly, I think it’s a little bit silly and definitely too early in the morning. When I rush for a show, I try to aim to get to the box office at around 7:45-8am and I have gotten tickets every time. But you don’t want to get there too late either. The one time I got to the box office after 8:30am, they had already run out by the time I got to the window. I think 7:45-8:00 am is the sweet spot and that’s what’s worked for me.
