After a massively successful run on Broadway and a national tour, the show is being preserved on film so a new generation of Fansies can discover why we all love it so much. On Monday, newsies from every iteration of the show came together to celebrate the movie’s premiere.
Dames at Sea is a tap happy, song-tastic good time. With a wink and a nudge, it follows a silly plot which is offset by fantastic song & dance numbers.
It would be tough to compare An American in Paris to any other show that is on Broadway right now because it is so unique and special.
