Broadway, Here They Come

Exciting things are coming to Broadway this year!!

Honeymoon in Vegas will be opening on Broadway on January 15, 2015 at the Nederlander Theatre starring Tony Danza, Rob McClure, and Brynn O’Malley. Will Betsy ever get married? Who will it be? Jack or Tommy? Go see this crazy love story to find out. You will enjoy every wacky, funny, second of this show.

On the Twentieth Century opens on February 12 at the American Airlines Theatre. I have never seen Kristin Chenoweth perform live and now is my chance! Andy Karl will be back in this Broadway performance and seeing as how I loved him in both Rocky and Jersey Boys, I’m excited to see him and Chenoweth in their new roles.

Matthew Morrison is also coming back to Broadway! Finding Neverland will be opening on April 8, 2015 at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre. You might know him from playing Mr. Schuester in the hit TV show Glee, but even before that he was in many Broadway shows like: Hairspray, A Light in the Piazza, and South Pacific. The cast is very lucky to have him and I can’t wait to see his take on the role of J.M. Barrie, as well as hopefully meeting him in person at the stage door!

Another ballet/ Broadway show heading our way is An American in Paris starring Robert Fairchild, opening April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre. Robert will be the second principal ballet dancer to join Broadway following in the dance-steps of his sister Megan who is in On The Town. Get your pointe shoes ready!

Kelli O’Hara will be back and better then ever in The King and I starting
April 16, 2015 at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. I hope this time she gets the Tony!

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, is finally ditching high school and moving on up to Broadway for the first time. Welcome to Broadway Vanessa! Gigi is lucky to have you! We hope you enjoy the ride! 😉

School Of Rock – The Musical will be premiering December 6, 2015 in the Winter Garden Theatre. Wouldn’t you want to be in a class that teaches you how to rock instead of memorize and repeat? I would!

Which show are you most looking forward to in 2015?
