How many local shows or community theater shows do you see a year?

Favorite Broadway show:
Finding Neverland
All-time favorite performer:
Laura Michelle Kelly
Songs you like to belt in the shower:
“All That Matters”
Favorite piece of theater memorabilia you own:
Signed playbills
Most memorable performance you’ve ever seen:
The most memorable performance I have ever seen was the first time I saw Finding Neverland. Since I don’t live in New York, it was an absolute thrill to be in the presence of the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, and to watch it. So much magic happened, which is what makes it a time that I will never forget.
Best interaction you have had with another theater fan:
The best interaction I had with another theatre fan was at the Finding Neverland stagedoor in Pittsburg. We really hit it off together and we have been friends ever since! Also in Chicago, seeing Finding Neverland for the 6th time, I met a friend of mine that I had been talking too, and what made it really special was that she was only one row in front of me for the show!
Why do you love theater?
I love theatre because it really brings a feeling of happiness into my life. It’s a place that I can escape too, when I’m not having the best day (which happens a lot). The days in my life that are filled with theatre and amazing people that put a show together, bring the most joyful feeling to me that I will always have for the rest of my life.
Dream roles?
My dream role is Sylvia Llewelyn Davies from Finding Neverland! She is the most subtle, heartwarming, and kind character. She has brought peace and joy into my life, and if I could play her I would be honored to give other people the same feeling.
Best stagedoor or backstage experience?
My best backstage experience was with Sawyer Nunes at Radio City. He invited me backstage which was a complete shock, and I had the best time. It was for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular (I can see why they call it spectacular). It was super nice to hang with someone my age who shares the same passion as I do!
Favorite spots in NYC:
My favorite spot in NYC is Bryant Park, 46th and 8th, and the R Lounge. I love Bryant Park because it is away from all of the chaos, and it’s a lovely place to relax to clear your mind. I also love 46th and 8th street because it is where the Lunt-Fontanne is located. It is so magical, and every show that comes to it is also very magical too like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that is there right now! The R lounge is one of my favorite restaurants there. It is right above Times Square in what seems like a hidden box. You can see everything, but nobody can see you.
If you could sing a duet or perform a scene with any Broadway star, who would it be?
Jackson Demott Hill
Did you ever fangirl when you met an actor/performer?:
Yes! All of the time! I fangirled pretty hard the first time I saw Finding Neverland. I took plenty of pictures with each cast member, and really enjoyed every second. The second time I sawFinding Neverland, I did the same thing, but I had a very deep conversation with Laura Michelle Kelly. She took my hands and led my mom and I away from the stagedoor to connect with us. She looked into my eyes and held my hands when I was crying because I was so happy.
Favorite thing about Broadway Wiz?
The interviews!!!!!
What would your super power be?
To fly
Besides theater, what are some of your other passions or hobbies?
I really enjoy sports. I cheer and run cross country for my school. I’ve had to give one of those up (cheer) to do musical theatre, but I will always have a place for sports in my heart.
Where can we stalk you online?
My Instagram is @lexisturr, that would be the easiest way to connect with me!
Anything else you would like to share? Funny stories, weird facts about yourself, cool talents?
There are so many funny stagedoor moments, that I could share, but my stories would be as long as Les Miz!! But I can say that anyone who likes musical theatre will automatically be my friend haha!
