Todrick Hall Returns to Broadway in “KINKY BOOTS”

Todrick Hall is an American singer, actor, dancer, director, choreographer, and YouTuber. He is well known for his funny and clever music videos, many of which have gone viral.


 
Kinky Boots tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family’s struggling shoe factory and looking for a fresh idea. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, they discover that it takes a good friend to make a great pair.

The winner of six 2013 Tony® Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony® Award-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell. The Grammy Award-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording of Kinky Boots is available on Sony Masterworks Broadway.

In addition to the Broadway production of Kinky Boots, which is about to celebrate three years on Broadway, the show is currently touring the country on its First National Tour, playing an extended run in Toronto at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, and playing an award-winning run in the West End on September 15, 2015 at London’s Adelphi Theatre. An Australian production is set to open in October 2016 at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Melbourne.
